Our People

Gavin Jenkins
Founder of HomeForce Property Management in 2010.
Why I work in property management:
By accident if I’m honest. A few landlords that we organised tradespeople for started asking if we’d also manage their flats. It was a natural evolution of HomeForce, and to me offered opportunities to try to provide something slightly different.
What my friends say about me:
Driven, resilient and determined seem to be what comes up most frequently but there’s the odd smattering of considerate and always ready to help.
What I do out of work:
Swim, cycle, hike, ski…and I like to eat nice food with friends and family.

Emily Leil
Hi I’m Emily, trainee property manager at HomeForce Property Management
Why I work in property management:
I came on board in the summer of 2022 in a part time role and have gradually been absorbed into a full time role as demand grew.
What my friends say about me:
A fun-loving auntie, calm in a crisis (apparently) mum of the group who likes to look after everyone.
What I do out of work:
I love to cook for family and friends and spend time outdoors, especially if it ends with a glass of wine.

Bowes MacKinnon-Belcher
Assistant Property Manager
Why I work in property management:
It’s a cliché but I love that no two days are the same. I enjoy the mix of problem solving, meeting and working with people and making sure everything behind the scenes runs smoothly. Undoubtedly though, the most rewarding part, which is at the heart of the job, is building strong relationships with landlords, tenants tradespeople and colleagues.
What my friends say about me:
My friends mostly describe me as laid back and reliable but up for a bit of spontaneity every now and then. I take things in my stride and like to keep everything in balance.
What I do out of work:
I enjoy staying active and being outdoors, that might be going on walks in the countryside or more recently I’ve taken up running. Time with friends and family is always great, especially if that combines with trying out the great food spots in Edinburgh.

Anna Wyss
My name is Anna…a happy positive person.
Why I work in property management:
I have a background in travel but have also had various businesses with my husband, including property restoration. This makes it a natural fit for me to be involved in the customer side of property management.
What my friends say about me:
I am one of those annoying morning people! I love to be organised and am a bit of a perfectionist. I like helping people and enjoy seeing a good outcome after hard work.
What I do out of work:
I run, read and travel.
